By focusing on the critical path in the gap between where compounds are in their development, and where they need to be for venture investment or Pharma partnering; ChemDiv’s Finishing School imposes fast forward/fail fast development through a focused, integrated path to a high-quality data package. The data package developed at early development stages is designed to attract further investment from the venture community (e.g., Torrey Pines Ventures and other VC partners) in order to bring it to the POC stage, when the asset is suitable and attractive for Pharma partnering.

Throughout the process, the asset remains the property of the partner, with ChemDiv having development accountability through the proof of concept milestone at Phase IB/Phase II. Financial participation is provided through Torrey Pines Investment, a San Diego sister company to ChemDiv with a life science investing focus.
